AGT is the first and only private company in Uganda to use biotechnology
through tissue culture techniques for micro-propagation of different
crops on a commercial basis.
The Company directors are Swedish and Ugandan seasoned professionals,
with many years of experience in the field of agricultural research and
enterpreneurship
About the CEO and Managing Director of Agro-Genetic Technologies Ltd
(AGT), Mr.Erostus W.N.Nsubuga.(MSc Agric; MBA Int.Marketing)
A Swedish citizen, born in Uganda, Mr.Nsubuga is an entrpreneur with
vast experience in international marketing in Africa, Asia and Europe.
Has worked for 10 years for Ericsson AB Telecommunication company
in Stockholm, Sweden as Sales and Marketing Manager for Africa and
Asia. Pionnered in setting up the first Mobile Cellular Telecommunication
Network in East Africa, Celtel Uganda, where he worked as Sales and
Marketing Director for 5 years. He is the pioneer of a company called
Mobile World International BV, a Dutch company dealing in distribution
of Mobile Cellular telecom products for different network operators
in 7 African countries where he worked as Managing Director for 3
years. Mr.Nsubuga started AGT in December 2001. |
